Class Schedule

The Time Commitment:

Courses will meet 2X weekly for 4 hours per class – this allows for rest and retention time of the material. The full Course takes 15 weeks.
Certificate of Completion awarded after completion of the required 450 hours includes:
• 30 hours of documented Pilates experience prior to Course – discounts offered at all PSC Studios with deposit toward Course
• 120 hours of classroom experience with PSC Master Trainers
• 75 hours of Observation of a Certified Instructor
• 100 hours of Practice Teaching with classmates/friends/family
• 40 hours of Self Integration (continued Pilates experience at your own cost)
• 45 hours Client Assessment and Programming Project (assignment)
• 15 hours Pilates video/DVD observation
• Passing scores on tests, practical exams and projects

Starts February 21 through May 29, 2012
Meets weekly Tuesday/Thursday 1:30-5:30 pm. or Tuesday /Thursday 5-8:30 pm

If for any reason you need to miss a class, you have a few options:
- You can schedule a private session with the instructor to catch up
- You can rent a DVD with the info for that session to make up for the missed class

Jumpstart Program

The Pilates Edge now offers the Jumpstart Program aka "Nuts and Bolts"  each month to get your new career started now!  $500.00 2-day program entitles you to discounts and to work on your hours to jump start your certification process.  You need 30 hours of documented pilates experience to enroll in the full teacher training program.  The Jumpstart program helps you work towards that requirement as well as self integration and observation hours.
